Hands Up If You're Human

Dealing with Grief - Episode 7

Season 1 Episode 7

We may crave certainty in our lives but the Universe doesn't work that way, except in one specific area.

Every single human being on this planet will experience grief, multiple times. And not just as a result of a loved one's death. There are so many experiences in life that can generate the overwhelming emotional tsunami of grief.

In this episode Lisa and Wyndham break one of the last taboos and discuss their own experiences of death and grief, both first hand and by degrees more removed. They talk about the lessons contained within our despair and in what might be considered a perverse twist, the privilege and joy they have felt whilst in the depths of grief's embrace.

Learning to navigate our own grief and become better support for others as they navigate theirs can literally change our lives and those of the people around us.
