Hands Up If You're Human
Self-Empowerment - Episode 17
This week we take a look at self or personal empowerment. So many of us spent so much of our lives in a state of disempowerment that the idea we can take control and have agency over our lives and how they turn out can seem alien.
So what do we do when we feel like a leaf on the ocean, buffeted and directed by currents beyond our control?
We could turn to the myriad tools and techniques "wellbeing gurus" bombard us with like meditation, mantras, affirmations, yoga etc etc. But what do we do when the tools stop working or we can't engage with them effectively in the first place?
In this solo episode of Hands Up If You're Human Wyndham discusses his perspective of self-empowerment and the three elements necessary for us to truly empower ourselves, reclaim our agency and assert some control over our lives.
