After a few more weeks than we expected the podcast is back and this week Cassandra and Wyndham are talking about HRT.
Specifically, oestrogen and progesterone (don't worry, we'll get to testosterone).
This conversations roams far and wide. From the "risks" for some people, the historic use of synthetic hormones derived from horse urine(!), multiple methods for HRT delivery and the importance of going to your GP informed and armed with an understanding of your cycle.
The reality for so many women, and the people they live their lives with and around, perimenopause can be hugely disorienting and both physically and mentally challenging and painful.
Both Cassandra and Wyndham want women and men to be more informed when it comes to the entirely natural biological changes associated with this phase of life.
